Final Consonant Groups: -k -t -p

Stop finals create dead syllables. In final position, many consonants lose their aspiration and merge into just 3 stop sounds: -k (ก ข ค ฆ), -t (ด ต ถ ท ธ ฎ ฏ ฐ ฑ ฒ จ ช ซ ศ ษ ส), -p (บ ป พ ฟ ภ). All are unreleased -- the mouth closes but no air puffs out.
